  • Profile: Shinsung was established in 1980 and specializes in the manufacture and export of switchgears and electric power distribution systems. We produce the SF6 gas insulated load break switch for 38kV, 630A class SCADA systems with our proprietary technology.  In addition to the finished products, we also produce the components to assure quality control. Shinsung has led and set new trends in the industry. It is one of only three re-closer manufacturers in Korea. Shinsung is one of five major power distribution switchgear suppliers to KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) and has sold 5,000 Pole Mounted Load Break Switches, 200 Auto Circuit reclosers, 100 Ring Main Circuit Breakers, and 1,000 Pad Mounted Load Break Switches over the past 9 years. Shinsung developed and supplied about 2,000 Load Break Switches (RL 15 27 38) internationally through Nulec Industries Pty., Limited, in Australia from 1994 to 2002, which merged into Schneider Electric Group, in 2001. Shinsung has also supplied this item (RAPIER GX 15, 27, 38) through Lucy Switchgear, UK, since 2001. Shinsung has earned an excellent reputation among electric power utilities suppliers worldwide.  It has installations in major electric power companies in Australia, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Israel, and Brazil.
