He Was Also The First President Of Kribb Since He Established The Institute In 1985. He Is A Fellow Member Of Korea Academy Of Science And Technology. Dr. Han Received His A B.s. And M.s. Degree In Biology From Seoul National University And Ph.d. In Biology From Florida State University, Florida, Usa. He Has Conducted Basic Research In Enzyme And Protein Chemistry At The Department Of Chemistry, University Of Minnesota, Minneapolis And Also At The Enzyme Research Institute, University Of Wisconsin, Madison, Usa, Before Joining Kist As Head Of Applied Biochemistry Laboratory In 1974. He Has Taken His Initiatives For The Promotion Of Biotechnology And Genetic Engineering In Korea And Served For Many National Committees And Organizations Of S&t Policies And R&d Planning In Biotechnology As A Member Or Chairman. Dr. Han Has Also Contributed For Many Academic Societies As President Of Korea Society Of Biochemistry, Korea Brm Society, Korea Society Of Bioinformatics.
